When it comes to the NBA, I usually support the Mavs or Suns, glad to see that both are doing well. Another team I pay more attention to as the Kings but they've been shite for the past two to three seasons, never lived up to their potential.

while there were obvious reasons for him to leave I don't think he's over-rated.
The reason he's 2 time MVP with the Suns is because he's taking nobodies and making them great. Nash is flawless as a point guard offensively. While he does get torched there isn't a point guard in the league that's worth more points than Nash.

Nash wasn't a great fit for the Mavs because they have a big guy in Nowitzki who plays no defence and doesn't rebound well - but who is the heart of the team.
Its fine - if that's how the team is going to be run then that's how its going to be run and the best thing was for Nash to leave. The Mavs have thrived without him, but its not due to him leaving, its due to the changes they've made and their good play. Where were Phoenix in 03? 29-53. Now?
