My favorites are the one in Roppongi, Tokyo and Kawasaki, Yokohama. This area is a shoppers paradise and a very trendy part of Tokyo.

For modern buildings, restaurants and shopping, Roppongi Hills (although NOT the rest of Roppongi which is the area I dislike the most in all Japan), Shiodome/Ginza and Shinjuku (EXCEPT Kabukicho).
