i already found the address to which i should mail any letters, but if i wanted to have them sign a poster with a really short personal message (i.e. sarah~ hello beautiful... or something of that nature) could i get them to sign it if i sent them the actual poster with a post it on it asking them to say something specific? No don't do that it.Think about it if all their fans sent stuff to be signed.They don't even do that at meet,and greets.Also don't bring stuff to show to throw at the stage as it get's thrown away.
