My life sucks and has sucked for all 25 years of it now I'm sick of it and have decided I must die but is this a sin.
I was thinking of slitting my wrists while drunk and just letting it bleed out. I know its been done before but its a Classic have do you think this is a good one
Don't do that. What ever has gone wrong will eventually straighten out. If you want to have a different life, YOU have to change it. Stop doing the same thing EVERY day and expecting different results. If you die, what makes you think that wherever you wind up going will be better? (self murder is a sin). Live your life differently. Start today.

I would strongly ask you to see friends and your doctor over such feelings as they can with help be overcome. life is short in nay case and there may be round the corner a great opportunity to enjoy it.
do call the Samaritans or a close Friend when you feel this way.

my sisters dad hung himself around that age and my sister my mom everyone is really upset..evven though they didnt really like him ..now that hes gone they are TORN.

Not only is suicide a sin, but its very selfish. I have had 2 people I know commit suicide, and to this day I can't believe they did it. Suicide only solves your problems, if you commit suicide do you realize the impact that will have on your family? You can say all you want that nobody cares, but trust me they do. Your family would never be the same without you, whether its silly stories you like to tell, or jokes or if you are that family member that just sits there and listens to everyone, maybe its your laugh or your smile that people like. dont do it man. nothing is that bad to take ur life. it would be a sin because you are not respecting God's creation and are commiting murder.
I'm 22 and i think the same thing everyday, killing myself i mean.
It's gets better sometimes, but there are the bad days.
Unfortunatley, i was brought up catholic, so it's ingraved inside my head that it;s a sin. Murder, just that u do it to yourself. Apparantly, it's the ultimate act of selfishness. I guess that makes sense, since suicide is just about making our own problems go away...

why do you want to anyway? I've been in your position many times before and all I can say is try to get some help. yeah life can suck at times, but it can also be amazing at others. I hope you call someone and get some help. hospitalization sounds horrible but I've gone twice and it can really help if you show effort in trying to get better. Anyway, please call a hot line

I think its selfish.The insurance companies don't pay out for suicide,so your next of kin will have to foot the bill.Life only sucks if you let it.Snap out of it and say to yourself,**** this im going to be somebody and do something with my life.There is only you can turn things round,and you can.So go out have a beer and say to yourself,this is it my new life starts here.Life is wonderful if you let it.
umm yes it is a sin. i wouldn't recommend it. Even tho a long time ago i felt the same way. and then i had an eating disorder and everything was falling apart. but now im happy i didn't. You only get it live once. Enjoy it. its not always great. ill say a pray for you. and If you need to talk just let me know.

Not only that but only a coward commits suicide. I am not being mean. Its the truth. My uncle committed suicide two years ago. I loved him very much and I said the same thing about him. Only a coward commits suicide. It takes courage to live! If you feel your life sucks then maybe its time to change things. Obviously it doesn't suck too bad or you would not have access to a computer to get on the internet to ask this question.

It would be a shame. I know some religions consider it a sin, only you can decide that. Slitting the wrists leaves a scar, and if you don't die, you will have to go to a mental hospital. See a counselor, if you can't afford one, call county services.
