City Till You Die.....get it over with then.
Did you get a load of Delia decked out in blue, rosette and all for the Cup Final in 1978, too funny.
Get relegated already so the Pride of East Anglia can take their rightful place in the Premiership and you back down a division so Mulryne and the likes can get a game again!
Just like to say hi to all you Canary fans out there from a Canary fan here in Norwich, England. Its good to see we have support from different parts of the globe.
Just finished celebrating our first win of the season (2-1 vs Southampton).Hopefully that will kickstart our season and we can move out of the relegation zone.
Although we are classed as a small club we do have very good support usually taking 3,000 to 4,000 fans with us when we play away and have managed to finish 4th and 5th in the league over the years.
All the best, from one Norwich fan to all you others
CITY TILL I DIE!!!!
Yeah, but the hole isn't deep yet. And the best part about the hole is that they've played many of the upper tier teams and have earned points in a few cases. If they can win some of their games against other relegation hovering teams, than maybe, they have a shot. I'm from Long Island, NY and have loved the EPL for the past three years, but it wasn't until I saw Norwich play Man U that I actually felt like I had a rooting interest in a particular team....God, I hope they stay up.... Well, you're right about the size of the hole. Five draws in 8 games is pretty good, but Norwich will need a couple of wins here before winter sets in. With wins being three points apiece, it only takes a couple to get out of relegation zone, but every team is similarly just a couple of wins away.
If you are relatively new to the EPL and not having picked a team to support, let me say that I'm impressed that you haven't jumped on the bandwagon of one of the big clubs: Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea or Liverpool. It takes a lot more class to pick up a struggling club than whatever is the flavor of the year.
Good to see a forum up. This is the first season I've had Fox Sports World. Last year, the YES network carried ManU games so it was the first season of EPL I"ve ever followed closely. At first I resisted, but they won me over with how they could pass the ball upfield in the blink of an eye. This year, however, I'm looking for a permanent favorite in the EPL. I've seen the Canaries play three times this year and I love their passion. I also dig their fans and their kits. Granted, I thought the same about Wolves at this time last year and look at them now. Anyway, I hope they stay up. With Man City and Blackburn in disarray, who knows. Hopefully, word gets out about this forum and we can get some scoops from Norwich natives. I like to root for the underdog and this year, its Canaries. Woot First Post On New Summing Thing!!! It Rules :: 6 posts - Last post: Jan 17Woot First Post On New Summing Thing!!! If you had 3 goalies instead of the 2 you had out there you might have won ;)
Congrats on your new forum and hopefully we can have some good debates here in the future! :D

Yeah, when I first started watching(about 3 years ago...2 years ago SERIOUSLY), I didn't know who to root for. I actually did like Man U as they were the ONLY team I was familiar with, but as I became obsessed and started reading everything and anything I could about the EPL, I found I wasn't really "attached" to one team. This season, and to be honest I had only seen them in FIFA 2004, I watched Norwich play Man U and fell in love with their desire and the way they played at Old Trafford(I really think Bentleys shot should've earned them a point...damn crossbar!). I also had known Huckerby from Winning Eleven 6 and since that day, have a fond attachment to the team. Sure, I can't claim to be a lifelong fan, but I am making it a point to get to Norwich at some point(I'm in NY) and see a game at Carrow Road(or whereever that new stadium will be...by the time I ge there). I already have a jersey and haven't missed a match(either on TV or the webcast), and it would SUCK, SUCK, SUCK to watch them go down...which I've been preparing myself for.
Go the Green and Yellow. I remember those days of Ekoku, Megson, Sutton & Fox and Gunn in goal. Hope you guys stay up as I am sure you'd kick on from here as Worthington is a decent man at the helm.
I am very new to EPL. This is my first season following it. Norwich were my choice because I am sick to death of the way money buys championships in North American sports. Hating that is what made me stop following North American sports in the first place, and so there was no way I would choose to follow one of the big expensive teams in the EPL. I decided to follow one of the newly promoted sides, and ended up with Norwich mostly by chance. Even if they get relegated, I am with them.
Good to see some new Canary fans! I'm one myself (though I also follow Liverpool). Personally, I think it's fun to follow a team that's a legitimate title contender (though I don't know if that can be said of Liverpool, especially after the injury blows of late) as well as one that's battling relegation (read: Norwich). I've got a friend who was born and raised in Norwich, and he gave me a kit of theirs from the 70's, hence my new affiliation with the club.
Anyway, today's a great opportunity to take some points against Man City. City's a decent side, but we've played every team close (except 18 minutes v. Arsenal) and we can definitely get a W @ City of Manchester Stadium.
Come on Canaries!

Ave it!!! :D
Well, don't bet too much on Norwich. Although you are right about having been able to see a lot of the Canaries on Fox SW. I watched them twice and they seem to play hard, and obviously there's lots of us Arsenal fans here interested in seeing David Bentley who's on loan for the season. But, I'm not holding out a lot of hope for Norwich this year. They're digging a big hole...

Yay :D
OTBC :D
Good on ya! Unfortunately I don't get to see them play too much here stateside, but I'm looking forward to discussing their progress up the table!

Try and get FSW.
I was wondering why Norwich didn't have its own forum.
Go David Bentley! :D
