Will this way i pass on germs in its body and it may get ill ?
Will this be bad if it is delicate and might think that I am squeezing him ?
Budgies love to be held in your hand. My last budgie would force himself into my hand or my husband's. I have a picture of my husband asleep, with the budgie head first in his hand, with his back end sticking out. Both were sound asleep. You should always wash your hands before handling a bird and afterwards. Never go into a pet store and hold a bird before sanitizing your hands. They all have hand sanitizers on the wall. Holding a budgie is fine. He will only think you are squeezing him if you actually do. He may be afraid of you, but holding him will not harm him.....
It won't harm him if you hold him gently. I've never had any of my budgies catch anything from me, like the cold or flu. Make sure to wash your hands after handling the budgie. You could get germs. Most budgies don't like to be held but would rather perch on your finger or climb up to your shoulder. I've had budgies for 15 years and this is how they behave.
The only way you'd make a budgie sick by holding him is if you've been handling harmful things to birds and not washed your hands (they ingest stuff on their feathers because they clean themselves with their beaks). But unless there's some reason why you have to (like clipping wings or nails, or putting him in a carrier to go to the vet), you should never make the bird be held in your hands unless he's okay with it, as they do get stressed very easily and even if tame, would usually rather sit on your finger, and you do have to make sure not to squeeze them. Also, you should never put pressure on his chest because then he won't be able to breathe.
