It sounds like your brake fluid is low.

When I am coming to a stop sign step on the clutch and apply the brakes, slowly press brake then if goes to the floor or gets abnomally low its a master.

If there is no grinding or squeeling than it means you are low on brake fluid. You could also have a leak in your lines. You should have a certified mechanic look at these. Sometimes a leak in the line lets are in the lines also.
