No, it is not true. Stupid conservatives believe that since they caught him not doing it one time, it means he never does.
Obama wants change....I doubt he will salute the flag until it is the country he and Bill Ayers, Kenyon politicians, Rev. Wright, Farrikon, the far left democrats, George Soros, Move on.org,Acorn,envision....whatever change that involves, then he will salute the flag. He thinks spreading the wealth from the bottom up is the way to go. He will distribute your hard earned money the way he thinks. He will take away your choice to hire who you want, grow what crop you want, give to who you want, and pretty soon maybe where you buy and how you buy...the list can be endless, if you want to give your freedom away with a little x in Obama's box. Can't believe that the American's are so blind. Might be mute by now as govt's all over the world are nationalizing everything, so only a matter of time and we will get change Obama or not. McCain may be able to save part of the American dream out of all this. Greed with the least amt. of work is what has brought this economy to it's knees, and I don't think that will change anytime soon...sad!
Saluting of the flag is neither required nor mandated by any law of the US for any citizen of the US. While it is customary, but still not required, to place your hand over your heart while reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, many think it is required to also place your hand over your heart for the National Anthem, which it is not.

Why dont english lern first! As far as saluting the flag it is just a piece of cloth so don't waste time saluting it. It hasn't done anything for us and it won't do anything for us unless you are using it for warmth or something. Obama probably takes the time to salute the rag because he wants to be PAT-REE-OTIC, which means worshiping the companies and nasty people that flag stands for and has stood for, just like McCain and Clinton and Bush and Nixon and Regan and so on and so forth. There was a photo taken where Hillery and McCain were saluting and Obama wasn't. The National Anthem was playing but Repubs spread the lie that it was during the Pledge.
