Personally I am a big fan of the Jonas Brothers. What I don't understand is why people are so against them. Yeah, there are girls out there that say really stupid stuff, like do I have a chance with them, or whats their phone number, but you cant judge a group just because of the fans.They write ALL of their own music, play their own instruments and sing all of their songs. They are real musicians, unlike other people that just call themselves one.I just can't wrap my head around why people don't like them so much.I mean if people say "oh they way they dress is really dumb" or " they are ugly", seriously you are a moron. Music is such a strong thing. It expresses how someone feels and other things. That's why music is an opinion. The people who don't like the Jonas Brother's music just have their own opinion. If they say they don't like them because of they're ugly or something (I'm not saying they are), again, it's just an opinion. It's the way you're mind is. In their mind, it makes perfect sense to not like someone because of their looks, while in other's minds, it's really stupid.

I am a fan, and I don't mind when people dislike their music. That's TOTALLY fine, it's an opinion.
but when they bring their sexuality and purity rings and other stuff into it, it bothers me.

10. It's not at all rock, it bad pop plain and simple, its bubblegum and it lacks any substance lyrically or musically that I'm interested in. If you like that fine, but don't sit around wondering why I dont"

I saw them perform on American Idol and sorry....but I wasn't impressed at all..it's not about the way they dress or how they look as much as it is about the music. I don't understand why there are so many people who are so crazy about them, they don't sound that good - at least live - my personal opinion.
Also, it could also be because after watching the American Idol finalists who sounded good, then to hear the Jonas Brothers....you could just see a huge difference in the performance quality.
I commend them for the purity rings though.
They probably either think they are sellouts or just don't like their music.
They're everywhere and don't have a good singing voice. They just need to work on singing from their diaphram instead of singing from their noses and then they'll be okay. Also, their just everywhere and so dang annoying.

i just dont like their music. the are a bubblegum pop boy band. i get soooo annoyed when girls who have only heard 2 beatles songs say they are the next beatles. no freakin way....

I agree with you. Though I have some stuff to add.
I am also a huge fan of the Jonas Brothers. They are amazing and perfect in my eyes. If someone just doesn't like that kind of music they should just say "I don't like that kind of music" instead of saying "They are gay and ugly and are girls" I think all the guys are just jealous that girls like JB more than they like them so they say stuff bad about them to get the girls to stop liking JB. When they say stuff or anyone says something about them I take up for them and it makes me like them more. Nobody is perfect. Not even them. I will admit that but so what? They have a few flaws. So what, nobody cares. They people that decide to make fun of JB's flaws need to turn around and look in the mirror. I bet I could find so many things wrong with them. They need to just stop being childish and stop acting like the world should revolve around them and look at what really matters. Its not about what someone looks like or how they dress, its about whats on the inside, like what they like and if they are nice.
So to all of you that hate them, message me and tell me why. If you have a good explanation like: You met them and they tried to kill you then I understand. But if you don't have a good excuse then just back off. OK?
