I have an IQ of 139. I didn't know that had anything to do with why I'm here. But let me tell you since you asked.
I graduated from high school in 1967, got married and had a baby within a year. As I've gotten older I've come to realize that I should have gone on to college and majored in either psychology or journalism. At that time I knew nothing about psychology but my high school senior English teacher had urged me to pursue a career in writing. Being like most teenagers, I didn't listen.

Today, here I sit playing amateur psychologist and getting to assuage my need to write at the same time.
Now, what was that about wasting my time?
I hope somewhere along the way I've managed to help a few people solve their problems. The two I remember most vividly were a girl of 12 and one of 13 who were pregant and scared to tell their parents. I sincerely hope I gave them sage advice and they are okay now.

I agree, a lot of what is on here is dribble, but not all. Ignore the immature 13 year olds wondering if 'he loves me', the self absorbed nutcases who don't even ask a question at all but just like to type about themselves, and the lonely 60 year old divorcee who is just looking for attention, and you might find some interesting things about someone other than yourself.
Because the stupid questions on here are fun to laugh at and because the intelligent questions on here are fun to ponder.
