I have always questioned myself on this because I am one of these woman... who cooks, talk to my man whenever he needs me, I'm there for him when he needs me, I'm pretty much open. Well you have to think about this...what kind of men are you dating? Maybe you need to change your scenery. I am a man who loves talking to my girlfriend. I love going shopping with my girl...how rare is that? As much as people claim they want good things they really don't know how to handle them. Its sad because being one of those rare good guys I got hurt a lot until I changed my scenery and stepped outside my dating box. Every girl I dated was the same, party girl, club hopper, never dated anyone besides a thug type of girl. I switched up. I met a very pretty girl seemed kinda corny and at first I thought I was too perfect for her but then I thought about it. I hung out with her. She turned out to be everything I wanted. Sometimes we have these dating barriers that we create and since we date within those restraints we seem to only get the same crappy love story everytime. Leave him alone and explore new ideals in people.

It's their loss. On the other hand, don't be so independent that a guy finds it difficult to do anything for you. They like the "helpless" ones because they feel like they are needed. Yes, guys like to feel needed and important.

I think that you shouldnt worry about what his new g/f is doing right or what she is doing wrong. Worry about yourself. You seem to still care for your ex but you have to realize you two just didnt work together, hes not what you want, you make that clear so I would say move on with your life and look for someone who you are more compatible with.
