Published by: jane 2009-01-07

  • Agnostics are the ones who don't know! You kids don't need anymore answers!

**The Grit takes her agnostic ball and goes home.**

  • You are a clever, clever Grit. :)

  • I'm here to preach FSM's Saucy Word

  • Why do humans go to the "dogs" section?

  • Well, it's certainly not for the refreshments.

  • So you only have a one ball ; )

They answer and question. However, ATHIESTS have oftentimes only as#wers ; )

  • I plan on helping someone today in Y!A, by giving sound advice. I'll probably have to leave R&S for a bit to do so, but I'll be back.

    Peace,

  • I come here for the comedic one liners.

  • To prove a point.

  • to have the time of one's life....

  • Mwahahahahaha

  • I like to share my testimony. And of course to talk about our Risen Savior!

  • I heard this is where the good food is....

  • An agnostic can be an atheist or a theist. Clearly you don't know that. And agnosticism IS about knowing. Where you got that I have no idea. It makes claims of knowing that we can't know whether a deity exists.
Does God love Atheists more than God believers? - Yahoo! Answers::
Even though I do believe in God I think some Atheists put more thought into wants the lost to come to him. all you have to do is ask God to forgive you

(Put down your pinky, take off the ascot, and stuff your pretentiousness!)"

Talk like an imbecile and walk like an imbecile and guess what people won't only think you're an imbecile you've proven you are.

  • I'm here to rip on agnostics...

    See what I did there?

  • I'm here to push you in the sand and call you an indecisive wuss! :P

    *blows raspberry, steals ball*

  • To have fun

  • LOL. A message of peace AND humor.

    Well done! :)

  • I am agnostic and I do know. I just also know I cannot prove it.

  • Trust me - this is NOT the place to come for knowledge...

So perhaps you AGs should leave? Just kidding, of course :)

  • To evangelize the truth and the way.

    Atheism
    Very simple.
    No God to fear.
    No dogma.
A life more moral than that of Christians.(statistics... proved)
Subject to the rule of law by consensus of democracy not the autocratic law of a god.
Death is not to fear nor rejoice. Itâ ™s just like fading into a deep, untroubled sleep.
    Be happy. Treat people justly.

  • I don't know why ? Can't wait to see the answers I know that when I first joined I thought quite stupidly that their questions were well really looking for an honest answer but the response I recived have been full of anger and insulting at times so I really don't know anymore maybe to vent or show believers that they must be so far ahead of us and that they have a more reasonable mind than we could ever have I know that they don't want to hear about God or Jesus that's for sure .

  • Just because one is an atheist or a religious believer doesnâ ™t, in and of itself, imply that we are so dogmatic that we cannot change. An atheist or believer in religion stakes his claim on the arguments that are presented to him. If he finds an argument that can convince him, he is not precluded from changing his mind just because he has been bold enough to pitch his tent in one camp or another.

As an atheist, I am open to argument and convincing. So far, what I have found in my 10 plus years debating and studying the subject of theism, are unconvincing arguments from the opposition. Yet, that doesnâ ™t mean that there isnâ ™t a remote possibility that I may have missed an argument that is logically sound and can convert me. I am open to the possibility. The position of atheism or theism is never a firm admission that ones mind is closed.

The other reason that I come here, aside from being open minded, is that I think theists need to hear the other side of the debate. They need to be exposed to the beauty and wonder of rationality. If I kept my objections about the belief in God to myself, I would be doing my fellowman a disservice. I would be complicit in perpetuating a myth driven world that gives shelter to all forms of religious lunacy - from the irritating practices of Pentecostals (i.e. speaking in tongues), to the exploitive practices of T.V. pastors (i.e. gouging people out of their hard earned money), to violent fundamentalist actions.

So I, as an atheist, come to this forum because I am open to the possibility that I maybe wrong, and I want others, who are on the oppositionâ ™s side, who are also open to the possibility of being wrong, to hear my side of the story and possibly benefit from it.
