Jesus was a real, factual person. There is a strict Christian idea that you have to believe he was THE son of God, dead and was resurrected and that without him, you are destined for hell.
I'm a good, loving person. I volunteer locally. I follow the message of Jesus. But nothing will convince me that that dribble is a reality.

I can only speak for myself, and say that there are thousands of different religions and different gods, and no reason to believe in any of them. The way it works is that we need a reason to *believe* something, not reasons to *not* believe it.

Also maybe it is not their time to believe yet so maybe they will sometime before they die. I wasn't always a believer but the truth was revealed to me like it probably will be to many non-believers at some point in their life.

Because people don't like to use faith. They need scientific and natural explanations for everything and if it doesn't add up in their own mind according to natural facts then they are ready to dismiss it. Or if people don't see and touch something they automatically say it's not there. The bible talks about how the natural man can't comprehend the spiritual things of Christ. It's a shame so many are missing out on the true relationship with Christ.
On top of that, so many so-called Christians have shined such a bad light on Christianity and Jesus Christ by representing the faith and him wrong that it's caused so much confusion that people are just frustrated or turned off by it. Scandal in churches, pastors falling into sin, and Christians are just not living the life Christ told us to live, yet they are claiming to be Christians. But it's all the trick of the enemy and it was prophesied in the bible that this would happen in the last days. They key is for those who believe and are living the life to continue to do so and not be swayed because in the end, we win.
The bible says EVERY KNEE SHALL bow. Right now he's giving people a choice to bow, but at the judgement all WILL bow and acknowledge him as the one and true living God.
