and answers deleted, while other, more offensive ones, are not?
Someone asked if taco bell was cooked in animal fats, and I answered that fast food contains worse things than animal fats. Perhaps I did not answer the question, but if someone is concerned with animal fats, they should not eat fast food. It contains things that are much worse than animal fats (intended or not).

How come someone said said "fvckk", which looks like censor bypassing, and that was not deleted, and even received 10 or 11 thumbs ups, but a question about lynching was deleted?

People are allowed to discuss their sex lives, perhaps not in second by second detail, but it seems offensive enough, and it is not deleted. But then again, with how promiscuous teens are nowadays, it probably does not matter. Someone asked "what do you call a sniffer" and their name is "p nis" why is that allowed, yet other, less provocative things are not?

First, questions and answers that are removed are not removed by any one group of moderators. They are removed by the number of people who report them for abuse. Reporting for abuse depends completely on the whims of those who feel like doing the reporting. Plenty of people report stuff for abuse falsely, for their own selfish reasons.

Here on Yahoo Answers, it isn't about proving guilt, it is about proving innocence. If you are reported for abuse, you must then go through the appeal process to prove you did not deserve the black mark against you. and although I have successfully appealed an answer removal, to the point of getting my answer back up and voted best answer, it is a hard hill to climb.

It all depends on the whims of the people in that category. Logic and sense have nothing to do with it.

i believe that animal fats are healthy. i know that's not in vogue these days. anyway, to me your answer doesn't sound bad at all. that's reallly weird. i asked a question once that asked if Y/A has affected who they are going to vote for or is it just a good place for ranting and arguing. i guess i offended someone or broke the "rules", so it got removed. it sucks sometimes.

I agree with the first answerer. Yahoo does not even look at the reported Q and A. It only takes 2 people who do not like you to report you if they happen to not like you. Yahoo goes no further, does not look at the Q or A......just sends you a violation.
I see plenty of questions and answers " you are a moron , f$$k you " etc and those remain.
Trolls report innocent valid questions and answers and yahoo does not care. They are there to make money via their ads etc.
I am not bitter anymore but having had an account for 2 years and 8 months before running into trolls who reported up to 11 Q and A per day ( and got very nasty messages) and being suspended was way too much.
Do not take this site seriously. I do not anymore.
I appealed and appealed but yahoo does't not give a damn.
I never used explicit nor bad language but got angry alright when some trolls attacked me out of the blue and started to report everyone of my answers and questions as innocent as they were. For chatting, soliciting (giving links to psychology websites) etc.. Everything.
Yahoo is behind, and runs like chickens before the slaughter. They will give suspensions and violiations just completely at random.
It is no use talking to them.
They cannot manage the site. Taking breathers all the time. 360s are full of glitches. People left in droves. I have been on here almost from the beginning and it is becoming more and more childish and less interesting all the time.
At the beginning people were a bit like a big family, solidarity, humour and all but as times progressed it became like a pokemon game for kids,
I have noticed that the most intelligent people of the beginning have left. That leaves room for kids. Face it the "WOW you have earned 2 points" is kind of an insult to the intelligence.

Yeah..that is my rant.........being suspended because of trolls after such a long time on here and on level 1 again with the same name and same avatar because .........I do not feel guilty at all !
