It has gone down about a dollar per gallon here in Michigan. Just another ploy by the oil companies to bribe people to vote Republican. I'm not fooled by it. Prices will shoot back up right after the election regardless of which candidate wins.
I live in Texas, last month it was well over $3. Especially when the hurricane hit, it SHOT up. Now its gone down substantially. Its $2.81 in my town, but you can get it for $2.78 with a walmart card as well. Its lovely. The oil companies raked in a ton of money off of us the past couple years...it's about TIME it went down. I remember in the mid-90's I could fill my car for $20. Right now, here in Vermont it's about $3.18 a gallon.
Demand went down and people were staying at home more, I wonder if that had anything to do with it...or that consumers were saying F the oil companies we'll buy electric cars! I'm still buying an electric car regardless of the low prices of oil right now.
Lower than it was Summer of last year! California! 3.49 a gallon.
Oklahoma... OMG!
Pa. 65 cents a gallon and dropping
It has gone down more than a buck in Atlanta
GWB and the Reps are manipulating the price to influence the election
It has gone down because speculators think we will be buying MUCH LESS of it in the future.
Are you smart enough to think of a reason or two why?
Oklahoma 2.30 a gallon
I live in Qld Australia and have notice a considerable drop in price (we pay the equiv of about USD5 a gallon).
The oil price has been falling for the last few days.
I live in the SF Bay area. At it's highest, the cheapest gas I could find was $4.47 per gallon. Last time I filled up, it was $3.45. So we're down a buck a gallon. Still, considering oil is now 1/2 the price it was a few months ago, gas should be lower then the 25% it's gone down.
