It doesn't bother me, but my mother HATED it! We had tuna fish sandwiches occasionally, and it was my job to mash the tuna and make the sandwiches because she just couldn't stand the stuff! Kind of a fun memory. Thanks for the question.

Love it. It only smells like Tuna Cat Food, though. The chicken and beef? Not so much. Those are truly gross. They smell like something awful I would never want to smell.

Well, just like sushi and other exotic foods are acquired tastes, I guess canned tuna is like an acquired smell

It never use to bother me and I use to be able to eat tuna salad on sandwiches and on salads but for several years now - after having several bad experiences with it, I cannot stand to eat it muchless smell the stuff. Even the stuff packed in water makes me want to puke.
