I see so many questions asking why there are so many atheists on R&S, but why are there so many questions with the word "atheist" in them? Is it because there are so many atheists on R&S or are there so many atheists on R&S because there are so many questions asked about/toward them?

I dont get why creationists answer chicken. Maybe I'm just misinformed, but isn't it just as likely that God created a bunch of eggs and they grew into chickens? Or is it explicitly stated that he created animals.

I have seen it from the start.
At first it was all about religion.
The history, philosophy and politics and development of religion.
You could have asked about Arab religion before Islam and got a university grade answer.
Then a bunch of religious types decided Religion and Spirituality was about having a Christian prayer circle.
If you asked about religion of pre-Muhammadan Arabs you would have been flooded with answers that they were going to Hell along with the Jews because they were not Southern Baptists.
One question about Zoroastrianism would get your account hunted and killed.
There were actual wars fought. Most of the safety measures for your account are the result of the religious persecutions attempted in R&S.
As it went on the fundamentalist Chrstiand became louder, and were matched by the agnostics, atheists and other generalized heretics.

Well, as I believe in evolution, the egg came first and the chickens were genetic mutations that were stronger than what they evolved from.
But from the creationist point of view, the chicken came first, because God created all creatures and then had Adam name them.
If the latter does turn out to be true, they both have a lot of explaining to do about the platypus.
Just what difference could this possibly make.
