| Where to get my Tattoo? - Is my Idea too Girly? | | Published by: cfz 2009-01-07 |
| I'm a 19 year old male. I want to get a tattoo of a star with wings. The star would be somewhat tribal looking and the wings would be more horizontal, somewhat like angel wings. (I can go into the symbolism but I would rather not bore you.)
My first Idea was to go on my shoulder (side) and the wings were going to be more vertical. I've seen a few like that and I'm not fond of them. My idea right now is to go on my lower abdomen, to the left side (stage right). It would kind of be hip area, but it wouldn't really go down to my pubic area.

I'm wondering if this is too much of a girly spot. I don't know what it will look like. Don't make fun of me, but I got temporary tattoos and I'm going to put them there first (I would rather be safe than sorry). I'm not fat, and I don't plan on getting a belly anytime soon.
What other spots would be a good idea? And would the hip spot hurt? kinda seems like it would

I would be careful with the hip area (I don't think it's a girly spot btw). I have a tattoo on my right hip. I didn't stand up long enough after I got the tattoo and the ink kinda bled underneath my skin and muddy up the tattoo (made the edges blurry). Anyway - go ahead and get it there. But make sure and stand up and walk around afterwards and give it time to settle. Have you ever thought of the nape of your neck? I have one there, too. Good luck!!! Choosing a Back Tattoo::

i think thats too girly (unless ur into girlY)
u should get it on your chest above ur heart or on ur calf (back of lower part of leg)
the hip only hurt when the tat gun hit the bone...besides that it was just annoying...I think your tat would look good on your wrist also
I actually think that will be a very nice tattoo and the hip would be a great place to have it, very sexy indeed. I have one small tattoo in that spot, it was sensitive rather than painful when the tattoo was being done. I am a girl, but I think it would look much better on your hip than your shoulder.
