I was wondering when some people think I might get my period. I wear an A 32 sized bra and get discharge almost every day. Its white and kinda like milk, please just take a guess. And tell me how you told your mom you got your period! I need advice on how to tell her cause I'm kinda embaressed.

ya, i was reading some comments here. when i was in grade 5, one of my friends got her period in school and told the teacher. I would of just put my sweater around myself. Anyways, my science teacher had to give her a tampon, and she told my homeroom teacher she wanted help putting it on. They also called her nan to come get her. (her nan is like 45) This is just a story (not an answer) just to show you an example of one of the things you could do. (but i don't recommend it!) I started my period around the age of 12. You DON'T need to be embarrassed about it your mother had a period also and probably still does. She will be thrilled to know that her little girl is growing into a woman. Best of luck!! :)

well you are bound to get it very soon. when did your mom get yours? and if you have a sister, when did she get hers? It's based on genetics, but I got mine 2 years after my mom did. So that's kinda false. Don't worry, It shouldn't be embaressing for you to tell your mom that you got your period. I got mine recently, and i called my best friend and told her about it. When my mom woke up, I simply told her my story of how I woke up...looked in the toilet, and saw the stuff. It's really easy. I always feared telling her, but you need all the sanitary napkins and stuff, so best to tell her as soon as possible.

hmmmm.... i'd say probably in the next year, however theres no guarentee. And how to tell your mum,hmmm lets see I was just like ahh mum do you have a tampon I could use. I recommended that so its not like omg omg omg. Just make sure you fully understand how to use the equipment before hand so you don't need to be shown, thats like the only thing that makes it award. Trust me compared to some of the stuff you will have to tell your mum later on in your life, this is nothing!
