Is it still best to stick with the newest version of 4 for vbulletin, or has it been running stable on PHP 5.x.x ????
The original reason is that there were no opcode caches for PHP 5 so no APC or eAccelerator worked but now thats all sorted so use whatever one you fancy. Getting SSIs to work with suPHP? Im using PHP 5.0.4 now,, no problems at all, even with hacks
Id stick to php4 becuase theres tons that havent upgraded for the reason its new and not trusted yet.
We have used PHP 5 since it's been out and have seen absolutely no problems. We will be switching to PHP 5.1 when it is released, also.
