Which control panel are you using at the moment? What are the features which you love about it and what extra features would you like to see in it?
While fantastico is good, its usually not updated to support the latest versions which is bad.

I use cPanel at the moment, I love the fantastico features since you can install some of the greatest scripts from a click of a button. I think fantastico could have other scripts available for install like phpLD, etc. Interspire Knowledge Base::
