What was the EXACT rule for leaping in the NFL?

well the new rule is that you can not go from high school to the NFL. And now when you go to college you have to wait after your junior year to decide to go to the NFL or go to the pros. I think if you dont go to college though you have to be 20 and at least 2 years out of high school if you dont go to college.

I assume you are referring to defensive players attempting to block a field goal or extra point. If this is the case players can leap as long as they do not come down on another player when they land.
