hello all,
i am not sure as to whether this is the right forum to ask. nevertheless i'd like to participate in the bug hunting for the 1.0beta release.
unfortunately my coding skills are somewhat limited, so d/l'ing source code and compiling it is out of the question. i do d/l ready to install builds. there is a problem though. a bug in such a build dated xx/yy might work, whereas the same bug in another build (contributed from someone else) with the same date might not be reproduced, due to compilation issues, inclusion of additional codecs etc.
so what i am asking is this: what should i look for in the filename of a ready-to-install xbmc archive? the word "proper" (btw, in which context is it "proper")? something else?
i just want to avoid providing bug reports for "issues" that are not issues at all with xbmc...
best regards and tia.-
none of our forums is the right one to ask for xdk binaries, in fact one common and clear forum rule is do not ask xbox executables. team-xbmc do not host or distribute "xbmc builds(binaries/executables) at all, others non-affiliated persons do without our consent or control.
