I'm going to cook fettucine with store bought vodka sauce. What can I add to it?

Well, you could never go wrong with mushrooms, some basil, grated or shredded cheese, and pepper.
I usually add onions & mushrooms, sometimes red/green peppers.
Never heard of using a Vodka sauce. I use 4 cups of heavy whipping cream, 1 pound of butter, and 4 cups of parmesan cheese and 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of parsley flakes.
Start by combining the heavy whipping cream and the pound of butter, cook that on medium heat until the butter is melted and the sauce starts to rise. Careful cuz once it starts to rise it will rise fast and spill over. Once that is melted, toss in the 4 cups of parmesan cheese and cook on low heat for about 5 minutes until its starts to melt. Take the mixture of butter, heavy whipping cream and parmesan off heat and let cool then add some parsley flakes last.
Add some diced sauteed chicken, use some white wine and butter to saute. This will be some good eatin.
Canned mushrooms, a little cream, some brushutto ham, sliced red pepper, sliced chicken, and some parmegian cheese! That will make you a delicous fettucine alfredo!
