I have a 91'? Yamaha Venture XT 480 snowmobile that has been sitting all summer uncovered. The track has been lifted off the ground while it was stored and it was started about once every month. Basically I need to know about lubing the chassis and track adjustment.
u shouldnt have to worry about track adjustment, but anywhere u see a grease zerk, put a pump or two of greese in. and u should also lift ure skis off the ground if its sittin on dirt or rocks or grass, just put them on a blok so they dont rust out. Also, if ure sled has a carbeurator or carbeurators, u should take them to a mechanic to get cleaned. you should also grease up the front suspension and stuff. Also while storing it during the summer, drain it almost completely of gas and put some stabilizer in and run it for like a minute or so, so the stable can run through all the fuel lines and stuff. hope this helps Installing Benders VIP Pipe - Project Vipers New Triple Triple Power :: It seems to be the industry trend for a small handful of companies, like Bender, What weve done is prepare an article that takes you through the setup and http://snowmobile.off-road.com/snowmobile/article/articleDetail.jsp?id=195522HOME | FastLarrys Suzuki Bandit FAQ:: is subjected to rough conditions or lots of start and stop riding) you should be not a simple installation and requires a fair amount of work, but it http://www.portablepct.com/fastlarry/banditfaq.htmHOME | Bashs training log: 2008-06-09 -> 2008-06-15 - Attackpoint :: Adventure racing appears to be alive and well after both STORM The Trent and it gave the boys a taste of the snowmobile trail riding we do in longer races. http://www.attackpoint.org/viewlog.jsp/user_920/period-7/enddate-2008-06-15HOME |
