I would choose to learn Mandarin because China is big part of todays world. In addition I understand it is a hard language to learn.
Italian, French, Arabic, Albanian, and Latin
German and Japanese.
i would probably choose spanish. for one spanish is one language that if you learn completely you can learn any other language of that type. for example once you learn spanish you can learn italian and Portuguese very easily. you could also learn other romantic languages such as french. unlike germanic which don't follow the same rules as romantic.

Spanish is too close to French for my liking, and I'm already fluent in French.
