Cook as normal on the hob and then make cheese sauce and put it in oven for ten minutes...yummy! Have it with my roast dinner every sunday!
Broccoli, wash, & cut it depends on what size you preferred, boiled water, put it inside the pot, add some salt & 2 tablespoonfuls of veg. oil, ground black pepper, while boiling, do not overcook, take out & drain the Broccoli, put on a plate nicely, sprinkle grated cheese on top, & again some pepper, & olive oil, when the cheese start melting, that's ready to serve & eat, just as simple as that...:) This is a quick recipe sweetie... my husband loves it ....Cheers!!!!
carrots!boiled!
I love all vegetables (except peas - they're evil)
Right now I am so in love with butternut squash 'cos it's so versatile and yummy.
Cut into blocks and throw in the oven with drop of olive oil, herbs and seasoning. roast it off and you can eat it just like that, or with gnocchi or pasta, eat with a roast, Put it ontop of pizza or a salad...
You can also boil it and do the same (but I think it tastes nicer roasted) or boil up a half butternut (cut lengthways, remove the seeds) the fill the hole with other veggies and some cheese sauce...
Make butternut soup plain, or with orange or curry, or barley, or feta
the options never end

I like a lot of vegetables - steamed corn, French-style green beans, lima beans, peas, carrots, mixed veggies, broccoli and cauliflower in cheese sauce and I also like my carrots raw along with celery, cucumbers, broccoli and cauliflower. And finally, potatoes cooked just about anyway imaginable.

spinach or zucchini - sauteed in olive oil with garlic
There are a lot of fresh out of the garden vegetables that are my favorite.
But I vote for green beans, steamed or boiled.
Sweet corn on the cob is good just boiled.
And broccoli is good just raw on salad.
I don't like to do a lot of prep to my foods.

Corn, Onions, and Garlic.
ONIONS! they can be used in so many ways:
raw in a salad
roasted with your beef roast for Sunday dinner
in chili, soups, french onion soup
salad dressing, quiche
pizza, casseroles, shepards pie, baked beanss
omlet, sandwiches, pickled, fried, and on top of fried potatoes
in mac & cheese,
as a poltice, like they did in the OLD days
boilerd, fried, raw, grated, with other veggies.
almost every thing i cook has onions in it (not ice cream yet)
but the way i like my onions the best, is in a big stir-fry.
