Ganguly's epic 183 against Sri Lanka during the 1999 World cup
Brett Lee's 96 earlier this year.As he is not accustomed to getting big scores it was quite exciting to watch. Apart from that Gilchrists double century.
Two treble centuries of Sehwag. And one double century by him against Mendis and Murali. Masterly knocks.
Sir Viv Richards, 146, Perth, 1988. I watched the entire innings on tv.
Robin Uthappa's innings against England in the Natwest series in 2007. It was a must win match for India though it had lost the series.
Test: VVS Laxman 281* at Kolkata coming from a heavy deficit of runs against bowlers like Mcgrath, Warne and Gillespie for a winning cause !
ODI: Sachin Tendulkar's two knocks of 140 odd at Sharjah againt Australia to first knock out NZ and then beat Australia in finals
Unfortunatley ive only seen the taped highlight of Dean Jones 210 against India in the tied test at at Chenhi.
Dehydrated and constantly vomiting while batting he was inspired to keep going by some words from AB.
Rahul Dravid's knock of 233 against Australia at the Adelaide Oval in 2002-2003 Border - Gavaskar Series.............
it really got me interested in test cricket........
Misbah ul haq played best innigis against India in T20 world cup final
The recent double century by Sehwag was really amazing. It was a needed score especially against the likes of Mendis and Murali. It helped India to a win and he also carried the bat through the innings. Great knock by a great player.
Also, who can forget the Little Master's ODI century at the SCG. It was his first ever in Australia and he did it with style. Playing all sorts of shots imaginable with a groin strain was unbelievable! It was a masterful innings and one of the best ever. It was him that got India the CB series.
best wud easily be sachin's 143 against aussies in sharjah cup qualifying...altho india lost the game they needed to get a certain score to qualify which they did, despite the rest of the team playing poor...his shots were pure genius in tht game...then guess wat?...he hits another 140 against them in the finals...i dont remember one player single handedly winning a cup for his team othr than this...
astle fastest double century ,
Herschelle Gibbs 175 off 111 balls against australia while chasing record 435 runs.
Wasim Akram's 257 against Zimbabwe. Quite good for someone who bats near the tail.
Rahul Dravid's 270 against pakistan, his 233 against australia
that was the true rahul dravid- whose actions spoke louder than anyone's word
those were two remarkable innings..... got everyone interested in cricket
