| I don't mean to be offensive in any way, cause they're okay ya know? but are they THAT good? They are cute but are they THAT cute? Why have they exploded like they have? I just kind of don't understand the phenomenon.. They are little boys..

It's common for anyone that the preteen girls latch onto to become super-celebs overnight.
Because dumb little preteen girls think music is all about looks.
im a massive fan of the jobros but not just because they look good.
their music is really good and i love the lyrics to they're songs.
nick is a massive inspiration as he has type 1 diabetes but he doesn't let it get him down. he has continued to live his dream and not let his illness stop him.
i did like miley cyrus but im not a fan the photos of her that have appeared on the net.
i know who quickly teen girls fall for the next big thing but i do believe that the jonas brothers are an inspiration.
i definitely agree that there's nothing special about the jonas brothers....they really need to learn how to use tweezers for a start.
there are more talented artists out there who aren't getting air time when artists like them are getting all the attention

The fans have different various reasons for why we like them for more than their looks. This will sound like a total cliche, but they have actually helped most of us (minus the ones that are in it for their looks) through their music, lyrics and morals, which make them special to us. Nick had a unreleased Christian album prior to the three brothers actually forming to be a band, which actually helped me through a hard time with family.
They can sing, play instruments and write their own music. They don't drink, smoke or do drugs. They've got their heads straight with good morals and beliefs, plus a caring family to keep them grounded. I don't see what the problem is. With all the "crank dat hoe" music coming out, I'm surprised adults aren't pleased that kids actually have decent people to look up to. They aren't made to appeal for an older audience, so I understand for why older people are not interested in them. But if you think about all the things happening in the world today, - teen pregnancies, underage drinking, drugs etc. - they're exactly what younger generations need.
It's a fad, they'll make their millions and in a year no one will remember their names.. until the 20 year reunion where everyone will go crazy but then just forget them again. It's how that business works.
What's so special about the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus I think is their music and their wholesome image because a lot of teens today can relate to it. And they are cute.
I agree. I mean, at the most, talent and look wise, they are OK only. I've definitely seen better looking and heard better voices. I actually think one Jonas Brother guy in particular is rather ugly looking. I do prefer Miley Cyrus to the Jonas Brothers though, her songs are quite catchy. Also with these people, I would be interested as to how much effects are actually put on their voice and how much control and say they put into producing their music .. I doubt it is very much at all.
