One of the most comon and primarily used are SATA and IDE.SCSI and EIDE are mostly used in Workstation and Server PCs.
I hope this helps
Different Data interfaces for your computer:
IDE (Integrated Drive Electronics) is a standard electronic interface used between a computer motherboard's data paths or bus and the computer's disk drive.
EIDE's enhancements to Integrated Drive Electronics (IDE) make it possible to address a hard disk larger than 528 Mbytes. SCSI (pronounced "scuzzy") is an ultra-fast, high-power communications bus that connects up to 15 devices to your computer.
SATA or Serial ATA is the replacement for the older Parallel ATA or PATA standard for hard drives and related devices such as DVD burners and tape streamers. Whereas the older standard was typically used over a wide ribbon cable that was often difficult to neatly run around the inside of a PC, SATA used a far thinner cable and new connector making it much easier to work with.
Hope this helps.
all types of computer interface - Eide is very redundant now used its a type of card slot - IDE is a very common type of drive interface, but this is now being replaced by SATA or SATA2 which offers quicker data transfer rates - SCSI is another type of interface primarily used for hard drives in servers, but can also support other SCSI devices such as scanners and printers (this was common on older macintosh's)
hard drives for the computer.
Sata is the best.
