Hello, I'm writing an essay, and one of the requirements is to "use 11pt type".
What does this mean?
Thanks!
It refers to the POINT SIZE of the type. If you have Microsoft Word, or a similar word processor, just look at the FONT. This is also called the FONT SIZE.
A typical font size is 10 or 12 point, that is where most reading sizes are for typical books, papers, newspapers, etc. Anything smaller looks a lot smaller and anything much larger looks a lot larger.
Font Size 11 pt is right in between 10 and 12, of course.
Just use your word processor and pick 11 Pt for Font Size.
That is just the size of your font text. If you are typing the document, make sure that it is the 11 point size in whatever font you decide.
go on the computer to the tool box in word and set the font size to 11
Font of 11.
its the size of the the font.
