Look, if you have some history, then you know that polls _always_ favor Democrats before an election. It is a given that the media and the polls will report it that way.
Polls _always_ "tighten" before the election so they can maintain some credibility.
It is who Obama doesn't have that is a big reason why he is ahead in the polls at the moment. But, polls change and people have to actually show up at the polls.
Obama doesn't have it with my vote. Many people don't watch the same media who favors him. Most people are not stupid. They can tell that this is a man coming from the far left wing. Some see him as a change and will vote for him. Many see the people he hung around with and will vote for McCain. As far as the debate goes, I feel McCain told the truth as best he could. I have much respect for him.

Obama has the mainstream media actively supporting him. They write favorable stories 2 to 1 for Obama over McCain. In interviews, they ask Obama easy questions so he can hit it out of the park. For McCain they ask hard questions.

Obama is an excellent orator,articulate, able to think clearly,focused-McCain attempts to do a James Stewart folksiness but comes over rambling,irrelevant,awkward,unclear,unab... to connect themes,not able to follow through with ideas.

Obama has coolness under pressure as shown in the debates with MCain who has tried so hard to unsettle him, instead of to explain his own position,he largely thinks up on the hoof.
