| What do you think my chances of being pregnant are? | | Published by: admin 2009-01-07 |
| I am a 24 yr. old female and I've been married for 4 1/2 years. My husband and I are TTC. I went off the pill in August and I thought I was having pregnancy symptoms in Sep. I ended up having a UTI instead. I am currently on antiobiotics, I have to be on them for 2 weeks. My period is a week late as of yesterday. The symptoms I've been having are some cramping and lowerback pain. I was nauseus last week, but I think that was from the antibiotics. I've also had a loss of appetite and a funny taste in mouth. I've taken a few pregnancy tests and they all say negative. The last one I took was on Wed. What do you think my chances of being pregnant are?
I really hope you are pregnant, but don't get your hopes up.
It could be because you are producing lower amounts of the pregnancy hormone that you have had a negative but it should be showing up by now. You could do another one.
Antibiotics do make you feel sick, i am on them as well and i have been getting all the same symptoms as you. My period is due today but hasnt come yet so i cant comment. Baby Place :: What do you think?:: What do you think my chances are? I'm just confused. Try not to get your hopes up, the symptoms you have been experiencing are also those of a period as well so it is so hard to tell. Maybe get a blood test done by the doctors. A combination of nightmares about being pregnant and a very late :: I was pregnant. My instant reaction was that I wanted to run and hide. . Thank you for being so honest about your experience. I think it will help others http://www.careconfidential.com/Stories/190.aspxHOME |
Many woman do not get pregnant for a couple of months after they start to try. And it has been said that the pill needs a bit of time to wear off.
Just have fun, don't think too much of getting pregnant and it will happen.
Good luck
UTI's are very tricky because the meds they give you generally give you all types of side effects. More often than not you will have side effects that point in the direction of pregnancy and that not be it. BUT UTI's and pregnancy go hand and hand. When we were actively trying to get pregnant, I got two, then we were pregnant. So, while on the antibiotics, I don't think your chances of being pregnant are that slim.
