What do you need exaclty for snowboarding for the first time?
What equipment do you need?
How do you judge getting a board, do you go by weight?
Please help me.
Rent your board boots and bindings until you have the basics down. When it comes time to buy, get your Boots first. they're the most important piece of gear
List of gear. I know you probably can't go buy everything, and that's alright, just do the best with what you got, and try and borrow stuff.
1) long underwear (not cotton)
2) a waterproof, breathable jacket
3) possibly a fleece or wool jumper underneath your jacket, for added warmth
4) snow pants, waterproof Grays on Trays: Snowboarding for Adults. Fitness.(www.graysontrays.com):: Do you have to go on strict training program to get ready for snowboarding? 5) thick woolen or synthetic socks (1 pair. anymore and you run the risk of restricting circulation to your feet, which ultimately can cause frostbite)
6) a beanie, or even better for a beginner, a helmet.
7) warm, waterproof gloves (bring a spare pair to change into if they get too wet) Using P-Tex- Snowboarding Essential Tricks - NiftyTricks:: Tools - You are going to need a P-Tex candle, a metal scraper, and something Snowboarding Skills: The Back-To-Basics Essentials for All Levels http://www.niftytricks.com/snowboard/etricks/ptex.htmlHOME | Lots About Snowboarding and Gear:: Your best place for snowboarding, gear, tricks, and vacations! 8) goggles or sunglasses (both protect your eyes, but goggles keep the wind out)
9) wrist guards. This is a commonly injured part for new boarders.
10) sunscreen. The sun reflects off of the snow and can scorch your face.
It's imperative that you don't wear cotton. Cotton dries very slowly, so once it is wet, it stays wet and keeps you cold, even your sweat doesn't evaporate quickly and can ultimately make you cold. sweatshirts and t-shirts make very poor insulators.

and sunscreene. yes you need it. the snow reflects light and you can get sunburned even if it's below 0. it will also help protect windburn.
Have fun!
i snowboard and it is the best!
k so ill start with cloths then go down from there
a water proof coat.
water proof snow pants
water proof gloves
a beanie that goes past the ears
long socks
pj's or sweat pants to go under the snow pants
long sleeve shirt.
or a t-shirt with a hoodie
k so the board and stuff, your local mt will have boards and boots halmets and stuff that you can rent, they will know what size board you will need and your stance also, the boots should be a half size bigger then you normally wear like if you wear a 8 size boot then you get a 8 and half, i wear a 8 an half so have 9 size boot
if you are wanting to buy a snowboard and the works
the snowboard should reach your nose, the width of the board should be a little bet further then your boot so theres over hang
bindings are easy what ever fits your boot works
i alread talked about boots so that is everything that you need to snowboard
Also if it's your first time SERIOUSLY look into wrist guards. You are going to fall so many times and the chances of breaking your wrists are high
All you need is a board, boots, bindings, etc.
Ask someone at a sport shop, they will help you find the right board, plus some advice on riding.
