when he takes his sock off it swells. and its very red around where the elastic part of the sock is. It almost looks like an allergic reaction, but not sure. No change in laundry detergent or anything. The other foot is not like that. Never seen anything like it. Please serious answers only.
It might be the socks themselves, maybe it's a different brand then he normally wears, or did he possibly walk through poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac? I would suggest talking to your dermatologist about this, and throw the socks away. Try some calamine lotion, or something with oatmeal.
