I want to get 20 slides copied as pictures. They are not in negative format and are the type of slides you put in a projector.
I went to CVS to see if they were able to make copies of the pictures, they said they were able to, but I would have to send them out to do so. I'm afriad when I get the pictures that the quality won't be good.
Have you done this? What were your experiences?
The slides are from the late 1970's early 1980's.
Do they have to remove the outer frame of the slide to get the picture?
What are your experiences?
Thanks!

They will send them out to a lab and the film will be carefully removed from the slide mount when enlarging it.
All you can do is send one out and see if the lab lives up to your expectations.
If you have a pro lab in your town, take them there and compare the results between what CVS does.
They are REALLY good. Just don't expect them to be back at the store when they say they will. They usually run behind on shipping them back.
