I live in Augusta GA and prices have fell from $10 a hundred pound to $4.50 a hundred pounds. Aluminum .35 a pound . Insulated copper went to .10 a pound.

I live in Central Texas and we went from 90 cents a pound for aluminum cans last June to a current 50 cents a pound. Needless to say I am holding on to all cans until the price goes back up to at least 80 cents but who knows how long that will take.

There are many global, political, and economic factors at play for this drop in raw materials but I am all for it right now because I want to pour a slab and concrete and rebar are just too high for me to move forward.
Gas prices are even dropping and I say OH YEAH to that one. Just hope I have enough room in my shed for all the aluminum cans I am saving up.
