The Frames, Azure Ray, Decemberists, Iron and Wine, Death Cab For Cutie, Mates of State, Minus the Bear, Wilco.
Those are just a few of my favorites. There are a lot of amazing indie bands out there. :)

Hellogoodbye is good for a kind of techno indie.
