There are a lot of good indie bands: Tegan and Sara (They're awesome live, you should check out their acoustic performances on youtube), Bright Eyes, The New Pornographers, Rilo Kiley, Broken Social Scene, Metric, Uh Huh Her, The National, The Organ, Of Montreal, The Postal Service...
