Long story, are you up for it?

Ok so my life and my main priority is to become a famous singer and actress. Not because of the fame, the glory, and the money. I want to become famous to show people what I have been hiding inside of me for so many years. I want to finally show people my talent. Until one shocking afternoon my step sisters mom heard and ad on the radio. It said if you'd like to be a guest star for a Disney Channel or Nick. Then just call us at this number. Well she told me at the last minute and it was about 11:00 at night when she told me. I thought it was impossible that they are going to be open at that time. The day after that day was the last day and that was the day of the auditions. I think they found someone. They are hosting another one at the end of the year. I really want to go for it, but I'm not sure if I am fully ready. I have been dreaming this for many years. My step sister as well. We have been making silly shows on my phone, we wanted them to be on youtube but my dad got over protected and didn't let us. He made a good point. Should me and my sister go for this wide open opportunity. Oh and we called on the last day which was the day of the auditions. They told us if the agents don't call back by 2:00, they are to busy for another family to audition. They never called back and my sister thought she wasn't ready for the moment of a life time. I told her to record herself with my camera and she did really well. None of us were around. Although she needs some training with me in the room. I have tought her many things in life but this has to be the most difficult moment in our life so far. She is younger than me though. This weekened we are going to try our best to look up information on anything possible. We really want our dream to come true. Although we are very sensitive. I can stand up for myself but I need to look after her as well. She is still young and obnocious, but that's what everyone does isn't it. Any suggestions or any sites we may visit to help our dream come true? If you don't have an answer for us, then tell us how you feel for us in this tough situation. I think you should keep trying. If it really is meant to be than eventually you will become successful.
It's hard to try to be the best, but if you or your sister isn't sure about this than perhaps you shouldn't do it. These kinds of careers take years of hard work and rejections and if you can't handle that perhpas this is not your true calling.

My suggestion would be to get an agent if you really are talented. That is going to be the only way to get noticed.
