If Mexico won the Gold Cup, would they do good in the Confederation Cup?
I have a feeling that USA won't even win a game, they are with Italy, Brazil, and Iraq
well the usa usualy sux when it comes to playing good teams
the "if" doesn't exist in soccer, you either win or you lose
obviously the US is the underdog in the group its on and i think they won't pass but Iraq will do worst.
CONCACAF is an embarrassment if you ask me.

i wished them bad luck and I hope they get eliminated as soon as possible because only Mexico represents the concacaf well.
Ther is no Ifs they are there because they won the gold cup. They only way they can embarras CONCACAF is if they are last place. They are exptected to be behind brazil and italy so anything betteh than that is good, but if not no problems. There is simply no comparaion among Brazil or Italy against any team in CONCACAF. But you never kknow.

To be Honest, this is really going to depend what squad shows up for the likes of Brasil, Italy and Spain. They would be coming off World Cup Qualifiers and one would wonder if some key players would need a break and not participate in this tournament.
Italy are not playing that great at the moment and Brasil has been very inconsistent.
The only huge benefit for these teams is that they will all get a first glimpse on how things are in South Africa in terms of weather, training there, etc....and will give them a small advantage to prepare themselves for the World Cup the following year if they qualify.
I don't think the USA will embarrass, they aren't that bad of a team if they play well. Bradley needs to find his best 11 and stick with them. So far, he toys around with his squad too much.

It does make for a very interesting series of games. I think they just might be a strong enough team to give Brazil and Italy a little bit of trouble... but I don't think they'll be able to beat them - they'll just tie or lose....
Now, that Iraq v. USA game should be FUN. If Iraq beats them, that will be so ironic....
