Here are some more cemetery photos from the session I had on Friday. I am still editing photos but at the moment going one child at a time. This is trianna who is 5 years old. I had a session with her 6 months ago and again she was awesome.
I showed these to her parents last night and they loved them :)
1. For some reason this one made her dad cry but i was told it was the good kind of cry.

me too. And they all look a little underexposed.
i dont think they are under exposed
but
a little smile from her would be goodi think that is what adds to the mood. I had a couple with a tiny smile and the look i was going for was lost.
That last one reminds me so much of The Secret Garden...beautiful!!
I find these kind of creepy.

I just don't know how I feel about portraits of kids in a cemetery. The ones you can't tell I'm fine with, but the first one and the other post you had with the headstone bother me.
Just personal taste I guess. Where I think they are very pretty as art, I wouldn't want a portrait of my child in that scene as a print. This isn't something for everyone and really is just a project I was working on as something I always wanted to try and to do something different. Luckily the families I worked with are totally into cemeteries like I am so they don't find these odd one bit but look at it as art which is as it should be.
thanks for your comments. I really do appreciate it. It helps me to see what others think even if they are not fond of the location. :hugs: BLUE CASHEW FINDS THE RIGHT MIX OF BRANDS, DISPLAY AND LOCATION :: Owner Sean Nutley has lived there since he was 5 years old. I agree but I processed this one a little different then the other for the mood. I might go back and touch up the eyes ;)

I love um. The remind me of The Secret Garden OR Alice in wonderland! Thanks. That was exactly the look I was going for. This little girl was a perfect fit. I tried to do this with my girls and it just didn't work like it did with her.
