Oh lucky us...We just get over all of the teeny boppers asking how they can become mermaids, and now they want to know how to be vampires...Does it concern anyone else that there are young people (and not so young people) that are so easily deluded?
i think vampires are real i use to watch a show called beyond belief fact or fiction (tells about scary ghost stores and at the end of the show it tells you if its true or not) and it showed a episode on vampires and at the end it was a fact so w/e sooner or latter the kids will grow up and forget about all those things
VAMPIRES ROCK!
It is quite bothersome, yes.
I mean, I think that mermaids and vampires exist, but not the Hollywood "flittery magic" type. I mean, come one. Twilight is a terrible work or fiction, as is this "H20" show or whatever it is.
They need to get over it. Twillight fans really are crazy and - The Something Awful Forums:: 41 posts - 34 authors - Last post: Jan 28I knew this current vampire craze was the weirdest yet, but drat, Twilight fans have always been crazy, lonely, fat chicks craving the http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3231219HOME |
They do exist",..
Just not like you think",..
No",... Convincing here,...
you have the right to believe what you believe,..
true vampires do not expose themselves in the open,...
like you see here,..they look like everyday people,....
only those sensitive to their presence,...
can identify them,...even then they will reject you,..
they are everywhere,...some may have bagged your groceries
sat next to you in class,...stood next to you in line,...live near and
or around you,....don't be so quick to doubt,..what you refuse to believe
you don't Always see a gnat flying around,..doesn't mean it's
non-existing,...it is okay to not believe,..I think they like it that way
so that they can be left alone,...all that I am saying,...is that it is,..
okay to close your eye's,...Just open your mind,...wide,...we live
on Earth,...yet exist in space,...FASCINATING,..is it not,..take care,.... Robert Downey Jr. Talks to Universal About Biting Into Lestat :: Aug 17, 2009 Apparently audiences have gone vamp-crazy over the last couple years. Stick to IRON MAN Jr. Dont ruin your image in this "Vampire Fad" http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/news/robert-downey-jr-talks-to-universal-about-biting-into-lestat.phpHOME |
It is just a fad, fired up by this new movie and book Twilight. Soon it will also fade away when the movie makers or authors think of something new which will appeal to the youth. But I will really be concerned/scared if the not-so-young ones begin to sleep in coffins. I would be thinking then that they have lost their sanity, lost their grip of the real world.
crazies!
vampires? ridiculous!
people have always been interested in these fields, but if something like Twilight appears, it acts as a catalyst for enthusiasts and wannabes.
the twilight one is not so horrible, theres entire gothic subcultures with a vampiric fanbase. and the whole vampiric thing is stylish looking so why not?
the mermaid one is a little unerving and borderline pathetic.the one thing i've learned in life is that yoy do not **** with magic. and, come on, Mermaid? thats the most girliest thing to be crazed about...and im a girl!
trust me, when someone writes a novel that romanticises werewolves, then your going to start seeing alot of people reporting sightings and wanting to get a spare bite. way of the world, no way to change it.
besides, most of it is just harmless fanticising, just roll with it.
it concerns me i was into the vampire thing while they were still considered evil, vile and abominations, now they are all cutesy and loveable; twilight, the viky nelson books, buffy.
bring back the arrogant, egotistical, and murderous ones of pre 2000 they were the best and coolest.
i know right
It does surprise me that the question comes up so often, you are right... but I think it's partly because of the internet and so many people claiming to be vampires already. It gets confusing to people who want to believe anyway.
VAMPIRES do not exist.
People-- humans-- living a vampire lifestyle of sucking blood and sleeping in coffins do exist though. But they are not real vampires, just humans who are in love with that lifestyle.
Meh. I blame society for sanitizing all the old stories. In an effort to make the world a "better" place by striping the fairy tale monsters of all their murderous aspect we have simply created a world of false safety. In the original Red Riding Hood there is no woodsman. She dies. End of story. Mermaids were murderous cannibals who enslaved the souls of drowned sailors. And of course, vampires have gone from being creatures that lurked around the battlefield and indulged in the gore and viscera (like the Keres of ancient Greece) to poor misunderstood tortured souls that simply want to please and protect a teenage girl. Kind of inevitable for such creatures to be put on pedestals.
Good luck.
Edit:
I will laugh so hard if someone asks how to become a vampire mermaid.
