Strange problem loading external SWF's

Hi everyone,

Firstly, I see there are plenty of issues loading external SWF's, but I haven't seen any quite like this one.

The player's behavior seems kind of strange when adding SWFs. I got it working with 3 settings. 1] I added duration .. loading mediaplayer.swf inside a

I am trying to load this SWF:
http://www.corporatemedicare.com/jcr/clinkcard/m/contact.swf

into an empty movie clip called container in the main movie
http://www.corporatemedicare.com/jcr/clinkcard/m/menu_new3.swf

As you can see, when played alone the contact form works fine, but when it is played in the container, it appears to work fine but in face, both the submit button and combo box appear not to respond?

in the contact swf are you using "_root." in any of your code? If so, that will refer to the parent / main movie's timeline that you're loading into... so _root.mySubmitBtn.onRelease... won't work.

try adding a combo box component into the library of your main swf.

Ahh perfect, thanks very much for the quick reply.

Any ideas for the combo box? Its enabled, because the arror shows the rollover state when you rollover, but it just won't pop down when its in the container?
