I have a button that, when clicked, expands a current image. I used Timeline Effects--> Effects--> Expand to create this expansion effect for the image. I saved the effect as a Movie, placed the movie into a separate Scene 2. I then had the original button gotoAndStop at ("Scene 2", 1). A Timeline of CIA Atrocities:: the precise place, in the precise amount, for the desired effect, is his motto. is a common defense of the CIA: namely, the American people should stop http://www.huppi.com/kangaroo/CIAtimeline.htmlHOME |
My problem is that when tested, the timeline effect loops and will not stop. Where do I put stop(); in order for the scene to not loop? Do I need to change the Movie itself? kirupa.com - Zoom Motion-Blur Transition, Page 2:: You should see the movement by scrubbing through the timeline: The last thing we need to do is apply the stop points inside the car movie clip. http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash8/zoom_motion_blur2.htmHOME | OSNews is Exploring the Future of Computing:: volume fluctuate throughout the timeline, or make the effects strength weaken. First of all I wouldn't use scenes at all. My advise is to create all the content in one and only scene. You could create your effect as a movieclip, then inside that movieclip you call stop(); whenever you want your effect to stop.
I'm not very familiar with Flashes built-in effects either...
Double click on the movieclip and put the stop(); action at the end of that timeline.
It should play only once.
