Stiff clutch pedal on C MAX TD?

I took the car back to the dealer, as i have a warranty, but they say its ok. Pedal is still very stiff when changing gear, is this normal on a 2 litre TD. The dealer says yes. Can anyone help.

If its the ford 2 litre tddi or tdci and the mileage is 60,000 plus,then its a known problem for the dual mass flywheel to start giving bother.Check the ford forums for further information,and checks' to confirm whats wrong?The clutch is hydraulic, and are not usually heavy?

Oh dear!!!! in the 1990s. 1998 to be exact, ford made transits with an old style clutch, these clutches were perfect and lasted for ages!!! thats probably why you see so many of them running 10 years later!!!, unfortunately what they did in 1999 was design a new type of clutch - it was called the double space clutch, i don't actually have full details on it but what i can tell you is they're absolutely rubbish!!! they only last about 20000 miles!!!! Ford deny any issues about it, but i could be something else!!, try taking to a back street garage or something???
