DVLA - Review - The evils of the Road Tax Computer:: All you have to do now is wait for the disc to be delivered, and in my case wait it would be almost worth declaring SORN and driving with no insurance. http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/online-shops/dvla/1054511/HOME | I've just repaired, MOTed and insured my car after having it off-road since August.
I've been online - they say that my car isn't on the data base to prove it's got an MOT and insurance.
I've done that three times now.
If I go to the Post Office will they tell me the same thing - even if I take the documents?
Can someone advise, please?
take insurance and mot and log book to the post office,,,,,,,,,,,they have a form to fill in to tax your car
if you go to the post office with your documents they will give you a form to fill in and tax your car ,then it will show up in the database, dvla will prob send you a letter to to verify you have taxed it etc thats what i did!
You will need to take your registration document, MOT and Insurance certificate to a licence issuing post office, there is no form to fill in and they will issue the tax disc then and there. You can pay by cash, cheque or debit card but not credit card at the post office. The alternative is to do it by post but then you will need a form V10 which is obtainable from any post office. SORN - Lotus Esprit Forum:: You can now do it all on-line, renew tax or declare SORN..system works well. lady on the other end of the phone was so sweet and we had a laugh about http://www.lotusespritforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15245HOME |
