i dunno why the cvs is in this bad shape now but someone made a typo..........
it's in unusable state now and i hope this will be fixed asap.
skinning is 100% broken, no background, my mvideo showing my weather icons etc etc.
i cannot understand how a cvs can get this bad.
i just installed the compiled version from 3/31/04, and the top tool bar (with power off, reboot, etc.) in the mediacenter skin has the wrong alternate images mapped to each button. is anyone else getting that? for example, when you move to the power off button the button changes to the reboot button image.
it's still broken... :(

you can still have pal\home-topbar.png references in the .xml file - the path is taken off the media\ directory in the skin's root dir. xbmctex should recurse any subdirs so it should all work fine. i think that the graphics files were just a bit corrupt (all the pal png's, and textures.xpr was an old version).
again, sorry for any incovenience!
thanks heaps to forza for cleaning it up and fixing my mistakes - hopefully it should be working again now, or shortly.

seems that the cvs got a bit screwed up and needed a bit of tlc to get it right.
if you're using anonymous cvs you'll have to wait 24 hours to get the updates i did.

btw. did you also remove the references to the pal folder in some xml files ?? that shouldn't be in there ofcourse.
i have just committed some changes which should sort out the missing gfx and repair the textures.xpr. it's taken me a while to put it all together as i wasn't sure why or what had caused the gfx to get to screwed up.
i think jonathan's last cvs commit went a bit wrong but as he's currently in the air somewhere between sydney & glasgow (uk) he hasn't been able to fix it. hopefully the changes i've just made will sort it out - using the latest cvs code it all looks good to me on a pal system.
can people post any further issues/problems with the skin to this thread and i'll sort them out as they're raised.
