A friend of mine is letting me borrow her Promaster Spectrum 7 Lenses. There are 3 49mm attachments...one is a +1, one is a +2 and one is a +4. What do the "+" numbers mean and when would I use one over the other, or all 3 at once? They all screw on together or separately. Help!!!
Promaster lenses are made by Tamron. The filters you're talking about are simply Close-Up filters. You can use them in whatever combination that you want, or not at all. They're simply macro filters. I have and have sold Promaster in the past. Not bad, just aftermarket aftermarket lenses.
