I'm going out in a couple of days and will be having poached eggs.... I have never had them before, how would I eat them... is knife and fork ok? What about a spoon? How does one eat a fried egg (sunny side up that is)? Usually I just dip my bread in it.
Instead of dipping your bread, use your fork and knife to transfer the egg (poached or fried) to on top of the piece of toast, and then eat it with a knife and fork. That's how to get the yolk-on-bread experience while looking a bit more elegant.

but it might come in small bowl.
